The AT-ES02 Addressable Explosion Proof Smoke Detector is designed for hazardous industrial locations where both explosion-proof protection and addressable fire alarm monitoring are required.
The detector combines an explosion-proof enclosure with an intelligent photoelectric smoke detection module. It is suitable for explosive gas atmospheres and combustible dust environments, including Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 applications.
Compared with a conventional relay-output explosion proof detector, the addressable AT-ES02 communicates with a compatible addressable fire alarm control panel through a two-wire loop bus. Each detector occupies one address, allowing the fire alarm control panel to identify the exact alarm location.
The AT-ES02 is suitable for oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, fuel storage areas, paint rooms, battery rooms, electrical rooms, hazardous warehouses, industrial workshops and other classified hazardous areas where standard smoke detectors are not suitable.

The AT-ES02 uses photoelectric smoke detection technology to monitor smoke concentration in hazardous areas. When smoke reaches the alarm threshold, the detector sends an addressable alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel. The panel displays the detector address, helping users quickly locate the fire alarm position.
It is recommended for hazardous locations where early smoke detection is required, especially in industrial areas with explosive gas or combustible dust risk.
The AT-ES02 connects to a compatible addressable fire alarm control panel through the addressable loop.
Loop wiring: two-wire, polarity-insensitive
Addressing: electronically addressed by coder
Alarm transmission: addressable signal to control panel
Alarm location: displayed by detector address on the fire alarm panel
Remote indicator: optional remote indicator output
Dry contact linkage: use an addressable relay module if NO/NC output is required
Important note: The AT-ES02 is an addressable smoke detector. It is not a standalone conventional relay-output detector. If BMS, PLC, fan control, shutdown signal or dry contact output is required, an addressable relay module should be used.
