The UL FM Fireriser Dry Barrel Fire Hydrant 250PSI is designed for reliable fire water supply in harsh outdoor climates. The dry barrel construction keeps the main valve and upper barrel free of standing water when the hydrant is closed, reducing the risk of freezing and internal corrosion.
The hydrant design complies with AWWA C502, FM1510 and UL246, using standard pumper outlets (4" / 4.5") and threaded hose nozzles (2.5") with NFPA1963 thread standard. Multiple bury-depth options allow the same hydrant model to suit different pipe cover requirements, while internal and external polyester coating to RAL3002 provides long-term corrosion protection.
Mechanical joints are designed to ANSI / AWWA C111 / A21.11 and AWWA C153 / A21.53. The inlet flange is drilled to ANSI B16.1 Class 125 / ANSI B16.5 Class 150 / EN1092-2 PN16, making the hydrant compatible with common global piping standards.
