Product Description
The UL FM Highriser Butterfly Valve Grooved Ends 300PSI is designed for use on fire risers, sprinkler systems and fire pump discharge lines where reliable shutoff and clear position indication are required. The valve conforms to MSS SP-67 and BS EN593:2009, and its design and testing comply with FM1112 and UL1091, ensuring it meets international fire protection standards.
The body and disc are manufactured from ductile iron ASTM A536 65-45-12, with an EPDM encapsulated disc to provide tight sealing and long service life. A fusion bonded epoxy coating RAL3002 protects the valve against corrosion in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. The valve is fitted with a visual indicator and supervisory switch for easy monitoring of open/close status in fire alarm and monitoring systems.
Grooved ends are designed to suit standard AWWA or BS pipe sizes, allowing quick installation with grooved couplings and minimizing downtime on site. With a working pressure of 300 psi non-shock cold water and maximum test pressure of 600 psi, this UL Listed and FM Approved highriser butterfly valve is an excellent choice for commercial, industrial and high-rise building fire protection projects.
