The UL FM Highriser Butterfly Valve Lug Type 300PSI is designed for use on fire risers, sprinkler systems and fire pump discharge lines where reliable isolation and clear position indication are required. The valve conforms to MSS SP-67 and BS EN593:2009, and its design and testing comply with FM1112 and UL1091, ensuring dependable performance in international fire protection applications.
The valve body and disc are made from ductile iron ASTM A536 65-45-12, with an EPDM encapsulated disc for tight shut-off and long service life. A fusion bonded epoxy coating RAL3002 provides excellent corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor installations. The highriser butterfly valve is fitted with a visual indicator and supervisory switch to monitor open/close status through the fire alarm and monitoring system.
Lugged connection is suitable for ANSI Class 150, BS 4504 PN16 and EN 1092-2 PN16 flanges, allowing easy installation and removal of downstream piping.
